Never Forget...

By the time you read this I will be on my way to Alexandria, Louisiana... I am taking a laptop and if Wi Fi is available I will try to keep you posted. I am also taking my camera and will try to keep a diary of our days. Thanks so much for thoughts and prayers.

I thought this to be appropriate for todays post.

To all those who gave their lives on this day 9/11 THANK YOU!!!!

To those who continue to serve so that I may continue to have the freedoms that I do... THANK YOU!!!!

Please accept my thoughts and prayers if you personally lost a loved one during these horrific acts.

If you have a few minutes I would like to share a wonderful tribute to all those affected by 9/11.

  1. Mary - stay safe my friend!! I hope that your services are not truly needed and you find that you have gone there 'for nothing'. Oh that doesn't sound right but I trust you know what I mean.

  3. I don't imagine that any American that was old enough to remember will ever forget.

I was pregnant at the time and I remember crying because I was afraid of the world that I was going to be bringing a child into.

I hope you find you aren't needed, know what I mean?

  16. Wow, and thank you from a proud firefighters wife. I can say first hand that these men and women love what they do and they know they are willing to sacfrice themselves for others. I pray for the lives lost that day and the families left behind, I can only imagine their sorrow. Thanks for posting such a wonderful tribute! Stay safe in your travels.

  20. Mary, I am praying wherever you go you are safe and that you won't be in any situations that you can't handle. Praying God will speak to you if you aren't to do something, go into a certain place-divine wisdom and peace, so you will be strong and able to handle whatever comes your way!
    Blessings,
    Debbie
