Tutorial Postponed...

I'm sorry to say, but the tutorial will be postponed for a few days.  In the last day I have developed something in my eye that looks a little something like this...

The doctor says it is not conjunctivitis or pink eye, but possible uveitis.  As I sit here and type I have my eye closed and looking straight at the keys on the keyboard because the computer screen is too bright to look at.  They are most concerned because my pupils are now unequal and the light sensitivity.  I go to see a specialist today at 2:30 to figure out what we are going to do.  I had it all day yesterday at work.  I even had to wear sunglasses in the morning on my drive to work while it was dark out because it hurt my eye.  If it starts feeling better I will try to get it done this weekend.  So, please check back.  Also, thank you so much for all of your kind comments on our chair because it made our day :-)

  11. My God. I am so sorry to hear this.
I think You must be like me, I get various ailments and illnesses very often. I don't know why.Ever since I was a child.
I have started taking Garlic pills, the one that is high in allicin, and probiotics.(yogurt pills)
I swear, even though I am a skeptic, I see a difference. They say 70% of our immune system lies within the intestinal tract. My daughter even got gastro, and normally I fall ill with it since I am the one taking care of her, and I did not; ! :)
Hang in there. I understand. I have run to the hospital for an eyeball several times. no joke. Listening to an ipod helps pass the time and with the pain.

  17. Yikes..I know that eye or at least the one I had that looked like that back in end of October.. Most painful thing so I totally sympatize with you. Nime was an infection of the eye and the eye lashes caused from my sjogren's and graves disease. My vision was double and I guess the pressure behind my eyes busted all the blood vessels in the eye...
Be patient it seems to take a while to get these eye things cleared up. YOu might want to try usings a warm rice bag on your eyes and then switch to a cool rice bag..taht really helped take away the sweelingin mine and eases some of the pain..along with 5 different drops.
Good Luck and feel better soon!

    Blessings

  21. Hi I just came accross your blog, I hope your eye is improving. I suffer from Uveitis also and its a tough thing to go through. I started a blog. Uveitisandi.com It details my experience with living with uveitis. Try to make sure you are seeing a specialist that deals with Uveitis daily you need the best for your vision as uveitis can cause blindness. Oh I love your crafts and blog take care and rest thise eyes.
