A Night To Remember

Shew! We made it!!! Last night was prom for my daughter.  We only had one hiccup when her date texted her saying he hadn't picked up his prom ticket and was afraid he couldn't go.  This mama hen was not accepting that!!! For those who are my friends on Facebook know I posted a frantic message about it.  Luckily, one of my friends stepped up, who works at my daughter's school, texted the principal explained what happened and got special permission that he was able to go. SHEW!!!! Meltdown avoided!!!! Oh not my daughter ME!!!! lol  This was not happening believe you me. lololol.

First stop was hair.  Because of the autism my daughter is very sensitive when it comes to her head.  Luckily, we have had the same stylist since she was born.  So, she is very familiar with her.  I, of course, wanted a French twist but the stylist new best.  My daughter did great sitting calmly through it all and only winced a few times.  It turned out fantastic!!!  Next, was home for dress and makeup.  Of course I did the makeup because she has NEVER worn it ever!!! I'm no master at it considering I don't wear it except for special occasions. lol.  Unfortunately, it was rather cold yesterday in the 40's.  I froze her to death getting pictures.  My Mom and I kept telling her we didn't care this was for us since she is the only grand daughter. lol.

So here you go... Senior Prom 2013...

The beautiful necklace and earrings my sister loaned us :-)

These ones were for me.  I LOVE this log cabin!!!

Courtney's date's Dad, her date, her, and of course the Mama who didn't have time to get ready herself me.

She said she had a great time and so did her date.  I'm so happy she asked this boy to go. :-)

  6. I am a grandparent to an autistic 4 year old girl, I have tears in my eyes looking at your post. She HATES to have her hair combed and I suspect it's because it's so painful. My heart breaks for her future as I know it will be a challenge but seeing your post gives me such joy for hope. Thank you and your daughter for being so open in your journey.

    Bless you, Anita

  10. This functioned wonderful, happy I discovered your blog post!
My ML-1210 is still chugging in addition to Windows 8 now. Simply one modification though 9.
61 appears to be the dimension (MEGABYTES), not the model.
    The model is actually 3.01.
