New Beginnings...

Hello All :-)

First and foremost... I'm back.  Good or bad I'm not so sure. lol   I have been such a bad bad blogger. Don't worry I have given myself swats with a wet noodle. lol.  LOTS of changes here at the homestead.  I know I have said that before, but now I really mean it.  I have been very busy getting things settled for daughter since before Christmas.  That is another post altogether.  If you'll remember she has a form of autism called Asperger's, ADHD, and a non-verbal learning disability.  Well, this year she is graduating from high school and turning 18.  I have had to make some plans for her in case something happens to me.  Long story short she is now in the "system."  She has been accepted for a waiver through the county board of developmental disabilities.  I promise I will post more on her in a different post.

Second... I decided at the end of March to close down my booth.  It is not due to poor business in fact it is quite the opposite.  I have been selling like a mad woman on Facebook that I had no time to take things to the booth.  Now I can concentrate on selling online.  Another big announcement is I will now be selling online only!!!  I'm trying to change over my Picturetrail into a "selling" website.  I don't have the money yet to actually get a website up and going.  The money I have made from selling has been going into prom, graduation, Washington DC trip for my son........ ughhhh... anyway, in the future I may start a website.  I will be offereing already made goods, my sampler patterns, primitive patterns, and who knows what else.  I'm still working on it as we speak. lol.

Third... how about some Spring pics of the Homestead???? I know it's been a long time :-)

Love all your prim pics as usual. Your home is just so beautifully prim! It's great that your business is booming online! That's probably easier to manage! Congratulations!

  2. Mary, your home is so very beautiful!! The pictures look like a magazine layout! So glad your business is doing so well. Having a booth takes a lot of time and energy and is a huge commitment to the shop owner as well as to yourself. I love your posts and your pics regardless of how often you post :-)
