Just a Quick Update

The doctor called me personally last night at home to discuss what needs to be done. He explained that he will be calling a urologist today and setting up a scope as he said it has to be in my bladder. I am so scared as you can imagine. First, of all I can't afford the doctor bills. Second, I can't afford to take off work as I have no paid sick days or vacation. I am borrowing money from my parents to be able to have heat as I will run out of propane in the next few weeks and I must get my natural gas line hooked up. I am going to a job fair today in hopes of getting a full time job although it will not be in the medical field. I have to do what I have to do to support me and my kids.

I am praying for you that the doctors find no abnormalities, and that a job, with benefits, comes your way soon.

  3. Mary,
I'm thinking of you. I hope that the doctor is way off and it's really something they overlooked. Hang in there...

I must also tell you that I felt like an idiot yesterday. I totally missed your post back a few weeks ago about the other woman! I guess that explains a little more than he just woke up and decided to leave. The grass ain't always greener....

My grandparents divorced after 48 years of marriage. My Pap had had a gf for a few years and Gram found out. Of course, they had both had countless affairs over the years, so once I learned of all of that it wasn't such a shock, I guess. Anyway, my Pap bought my Gram's share of the house and Gram kept thinking about the new woman moving in. Pap and his gf got engaged last Christmas...they've now been together 6 years, two years since the separation and divorce and guess what? They both live in separate houses still! Never saw that one coming!

Anyway, I'll be thinking of you...many, many hugs!

  5. Mary I am praying for you. Remember Doctor's always tell you the worst that can happen, it does not mean it will happen. I know things are scarey but we are all holding you up in prayer. Your son needs you!

  10. Mary, I pray for you everyday. Today I will say two. One to heal your body and heart. The other to help you find the perfect job. I'm not a particularity religious person but I think it's in order right now.
I wanted to surprise you with a package but I couldn't find your address.
Please understand that He won't talk to you because he is feeling guilty right now. His guilt won't allow him to be a decent human. My advice give him the house, you don't need to take care of a house right now.

  11. Oh Mary I just wish I lived closer! I know you have the people in your life that God wants you to have, and if I'm here from a distance, then that's what needs to be.
    Prayers are surrounding you!

  21. Hi my name is Tress and I found your blog thru web shots-lets just say 8 years ago -to the day-in Ohio (fostoria to be exact)I was in your shoes-the only thing was we did not have kids. First, HE CAN NOT DROP YOU FROM HIS HEALTH INSURANCE UNTIL THE DIVORCE OR DISSOLUTIONS IS OVER!!!!!!!!!!!! Second-BY LAW YOU ARE STILL MARRIED AND HE MUST HELP WITH THE KIDS-you really need to see an attorney-really really really!! Now if you wish to work on the marriage-I know-I know he is saying its over-but for your own sanity you can go to marriagebuilders.com-there are forums with people who are going thru the same exact thing. You may want to read Surviving an Affair-if it doesn't save this marriage it will help you tons on down the road -that is where I am at now-yes we did divorce-and I was working at a friends craft shop in my spare time as well-we have tons in common! Yes-there was a SHE-they worked to gether as "friends"-hence my husband and I do not have "friends" of the opposite sex now-we both have gone thru this--i called her "the B" she was mean and so was her family-Anyways I hope I have helped some-sorry for all the caps-just trying to help.

  22. Mary dear,
As always you are in my prayers!! I am hoping like you that it is stress. I know how you feel, may seem like empty words, but that C word is just down right nasty!! I keep asking God to be with you... and your son!! Please keep your chin up, and keep postive thoughts that is the best thing I can say.
(I tried to keep a stiff upper lip, but I cried alot too when that word was mentioned... Three different times... THE GOOD LORD has been with me all three times!!!) And I know he is with you in this time of need also!
I am sending a really BIG HUG!!!
Just know that you're not alone, hon. I am waiting on pins and needles with you for word of how things are going.
    Love your friend always!!
