If I Was a Bench What color Would I Be??

Oh life can be so hectic... Work has been crazy I am being held over and asked to work extra. I have to work 5 hours tonight on my weekend off, but the good thing is it is all overtime. With Christmas coming I can use it. The kids are a little angry but they understand.

Anyway as my post says Steve is up to his antics again. I receive a pic message on my phone. This is what it was...

Steve built me a bench that he saw on the computer. I force him to sit down and look at all your homes on the computer. LOL. No I don't force him too he actually enjoys it because then he understands where I'm coming from on my decorating. He has seen several of you have these benches so he decided to build one. I don't know where it will go, but heck I'm not going to turn down more furniture. LOL.

So two days ago I get another picture...

Now he tells me he's adding another color on top and using the heat gun to bubble. Not sure I'm going to like it as he is using a cream on it. Guess we'll wait and see. Oh wait did I tell you he told me to wait and ask for a heat gun for Christmas and yet he goes out and buys one. I think I'll be headed to his house and borrowing his without the intent of returning it. I wanted it first anyways. LOL. He says I need to put it next to my front door in the living room.

This is too funny I have to share this with you. LOL. The last two days I have had a different partner at work as my normal one is on vacation. Well, this guy is 43 and is married and has two grown kids. We got along great by the way. He and I just clicked as partners. When you run on an ambulance you never know when you will get lunch so we carry our lunches in the truck with us. Sometimes we carry extra bags with odds and ends of stuff in it like magazines or newspapers or like me craft projects. Well I happen to look over and see this... like the bear???? LOL

I warned him that I was going to take a picture and show my friends. LOL He claims it's his wife's. I told him I knew better.

I need to get going and make some peanut butter blossom cookies for my son. He requested them for Christmas cookies. I have to be to work in a few hours so I better get started.

More Christmas Decor at the Homestead

So this is the dining room. LOL Remember that commercial that was on a long time ago? As promised I cleaned up my crafting stuff and snapped some pictures. I love taking pictures in the evening but sometimes they are hard to see as you can tell. So come on in and look around. Once again Merry Christmas!!!!

I have to share this special early Christmas present I just received while writing this entry. The phone just rang and it showed up on my caller ID that it was a local hospital that I have had dealings with. If you'll remember this spring I was having major health issues and had some procedures done. Well, of course I received a bill this summer for my portion after insurance had paid. Of course I didn't have the money to pay it and there is no setting up any special payment plans with this hospital that I had to charge almost $1000.00 on a credit card. This is the weird part. The phone call was the hospital saying that the insurance just paid the bill that I had already paid and that they would be refunding my payment in full. Isn't it strange how God works in mysterious ways?
