My Newest Venture

Hello All!

I just love crafting.  I love being creative trying new things but sometimes it gets out of hand.  I think I could actually have a craft store in my basement of all the supplies I have on hand.  Recently, I found a new crafting love.

As I was decorating for Christmas and putting out my Santa's I thought how nice it would be to have some "real" Belsnickle Santa's.  Well, they are way out of my price range.  I am very thrifty when it comes to decorating as you all know.  So, the search was on.  What could I do to have what I want?  I found some unfinished paper mache Santa's online.  They were pretty reasonably priced so I thought what the heck.  If I mess them up I won't be out a lot of money.  I purchased 3 of them back in November.  The box came I opened them and then sat them on my craft table.  I couldn't get the nerve up to paint them.  I am by no means a painter. ughhh  I am a stitcher! lol.  Well, the other day I thought what the heck let's give it a try. I painted my first one.

Hmmm... that wasn't so bad.  It actually came out pretty good.  Let's try another.

I love him too!  I'm not too shabby at painting...

This guy was a bit more challenging and smaller.  That's why he was last. lol.  Leave the most difficult for last.  He turned out pretty good too!

Let me just say I LOVE painting these guys!  I think other people liked them too as the red and mustard ones sold!  WOW!  So I ordered more of these guys to paint in my spare time. LOL

If you are interested in the green one he is $34 plus shipping and is 9 1/4" tall.
