This first set is cottons and wools I picked up at the thrift store a couple weeks back. I spent about $8.00.
This was free from a lady I work with. There is about 8 yards I'd say. Cute little blue cotton print. I'm seeing cute little aprons and dresses for peg racks. hehe like my purple slippers.
The next two pics are a fusible quilt interfacing guideline stuff to make quilts. Free and I have two bolts. I really need to make a quilt for my bed.
This next pile of stuff also free. Cotton fabrics and muslin precut for candlewicking along with books on how to do it thank goodness. And then two rolls of stuff not sure what it is, but one says to sew on fabric then it automatically gathers the fabric for like ruffles when you pull this string. (I don't know whatever) Hey it was free right? But look at the fabric (eyes fixed on the pretty fabric chanting I LOVE this fabric) LOL.
The first step in recovery is admitting you have a problem. Well, I have a HUGE one. LOL. I better get busy sewing and using some so I can buy more. Oh wait what am I saying. I think I need to go to the fabric store I'm getting depressed, but it'll have to wait since I'm at work AGAIN.
Oh stop tring to sound like your sorry.....we All know you are just bragging about your big stash!!!!!

I may have to join with you, Mary! I started out only buying fabric as I needed it. Mostly getting like remenants to work on my yo-yo's. I bought homespun here and there for curtains, fabric strips to use for ties or other smaller projects. Now I have quite the stash of homespuns, thanks to my Gram cleaning out her stash. A pretty big pile of red, whites and blues from the yo-yo's because some of the remenants were quite large. Now I'm buying others fabrics for purses and dresses! Oh, my! I need somewhere for all of this stuff. I have it stashed in a huge mess of a pile in my toy box/coffee table but I need something else. I was thinking a small cupboard with a door that I can put at the end of the bar. But I'm sure I'll fill it up! LOL

Funny post...only because at the last yardsale Sat., I bought two yds of fabric! Will I get like you? I hope so:)

Somehow I get the feeling your not too sorry to aquire more fabric. But I sure understand what you mean. I am addicted to fabric and can't stop. of course it doesn't help when you work in the fabric department at a local reatiler.

I, too, suffer from the same affliction. I have more fabric than I will EVER use. Sometimes I feel bad about it and then I run my hands over the stacks and stacks of fabric and it seems to make me feel so much better. (Guess I haven't hit bottom yet...) LOL

I tried to leave you a really funny long comment earlier but the silly site ATE it; anyway; thanks for visiting me; and I am a fabric-a-holic too; but the long/short of my previously wildly funny message is that we keep the economy going! and we should get a medal from thew Pres. and more money to continue; If Mr Bush would send me a few thousand dollars Id pump up the economy here in Michigan something fierce; and we sure need it; sooooo do your part for the country; it's downright patriotic!
