Out of Commission

Well, out of my stubbornness, I kept working even though Sunday I felt a little something going on in my throat. I gave in and went to the doctor today. I have a sinus infection, bronchitis, fluid in my ears, and the cherry on top strep throat. The doctor said I was beyond amoxicillin, which is normally my choice of drugs, and gave me something a little more potent and some cough medicine so that I won't need a lung transplant by the end. That being said I will not be back for a few days. I still have 4 more days of either working or teaching yet to go. Check back at the beginning of the week and I hope to have some goodies up for sale.

    Here's to hoping that the meds kick in QUICKLY. Seems to me I remember you ill in the past and it just knocks you out doesn't it? ~Ann

    They say it's hard to keep a good woman down, and if you're out of commission then it's bad!

    My advice-REST and take your meds. I had this nasty stuff several months ago and if you remember reading my post it took THREE doses of antibiotics to finally get rid of the infection and everything you got going on! I feel your pain my friend.
    Praying that you will be a good patient and get well very soon.

    Oh Mary, get well, take time to rest and take ALL OF THE MEDS, not just enough to feel slightly better! Prayers coming your way, we all will be happy when you check back in feeling 100% better.
